A native of Skowhegan Maine, I have been playing bass professionally within the south eastern United States for the past 20 years. Currently located south of Richmond Virginia, I am an audio engineer, educator and bassist. I enjoy both electric and acoustic music.
I am an Assistant Professor at Virginia State University where I teach Pro Tools user certification, music/audio production and applied bass.
I love traditional jazz (New Orleans), Swing/Big Band, Bebop, Hot Club and Hardbop.
Western Art Music, Musical Theater as well as common popular genres such as Blues, Reggae, Latin/Afro Cuban, Classic Country, Funk and last but not least Soul/R&B
Over The past 20 years I have been producing demos, albums and archival recordings for bands, auditions for schools as wells as universities.
Downeast Recording Company is an on-location recording service. I can produce full production albums to stereo archival recordings.
